WotR: Grishnakhs Trackers

"What about their legs...? They don't need those...         Ooh! They look tasty!"
Grishnakh , The Two Towers, The Lord of the Rings

Grishnakhs leads the Mordor Orcs that catch up with the Uruk-hai carrying Merry and Pippin. Grishnakh tries in vain to abduct them and take them to his master Saurno

Grishnákh is described in the book as a short, broad, crooked-legged Orc with long arms that almost hung down to the ground. He had a voice that was softer than that of most Orcs, but more evil...

I hope you like mt band of orc archers - I have used them as orc trackers to save a little money!

We are about to start playing LOTR SBG - both skirmish battles and walk through the books/films each Monday night and WotR on club nights.

We welcome anyone interested in playing Lotr SBG, WotR or any warhammer/40K battle - why not let us know so that we can arrange some starter battles, like the one above, or if you/your club want to challenge us. We have all the LOTR SBG figures and LOTR scenery from the Mines of Moria to the siege of Helms Deep ready and waiting.

Feel free to email us to come along or arrange a game.

  1. Great stuff, well done. I think I'd do the same as you to save a few pennies ;-)

  2. They are more effective than normal orcs, because they have a better shooting skill. Not only this, they cost one point less or two points less if they are mounted than orcs, as well!
And of course, they are cheaper in real euros as you have already noticed!
    Your armies collection is amazing!
