WotR: Battlehost - Gorgoroth Mordor Orc Horde

"Move along, scum! Back in the line you maggots! Get back into the line  you slugs!  Move it... Move it!"
Orc Captain, Gorgoroth Plains, Return of the King, The Lord of the Rings"

Valour does not come naturally to Mordor Orcs. Only a vast horde, driven at the foe with whips and emboldened by the dread of the treat of the Nazgul can be counted brave enough to hold its own against the cold steel of the Elves and the stern heroism of Men.

Saurin has never known this to be true, and long agoset his designs to the creation of stronger and braver breeds of Orc-kind.  From these great works arose the bold Uruk-Hai of Barud-dur and the mighty Morannon Orcs, but the Dark Lord still has uses for the Orc rabbles swarming across the plateau of Gorgoroth - at least, whilst the fear of his wrath still grips their mind.

We are about to start playing LOTR SBG - both skirmish battles and walk through the books/films each Monday night and WotR on club nights.

We welcome anyone interested in playing Lotr SBG, WotR or any warhammer/40K battle - why not let us know so that we can arrange some starter battles, like the one above, or if you/your club want to challenge us. We have all the LOTR SBG figures and LOTR scenery from the Mines of Moria to the siege of Helms Deep ready and waiting.

Feel free to email us to come along or arrange a game.
